Born in Winnipeg, and now living near Ile des Chenes, Linda discovered her love of art and photography at a young age.

In 2000, she decided to pursue her art interest, and take a Watercolour Class at the Forum Art Institute. She was hooked!  She chose watercolour because of its luminosity and glow, and now strives to capture those very qualities in her paintings. Since then, Linda has been driven to explore and create using additional mediums such as acrylics, alcohol inks, coloured pencils and soft pastels.

Linda's passion is painting realistic landscapes, but has had great success with portraits and animals as well.

In all of her paintings, Linda strives to evoke an experience or an emotion for the viewer, not just create something for them to view.

Linda's paintings have been accepted into many juried art shows across Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, and other parts of Canada and the United States.  She has won several awards for her works, and many of her paintings now reside in private and corporate collections across North America and other places worldwide.

Linda is currently on the Board of Directors of the Local Colour Art Group and is a member of the Pastel Artists of Canada
