Cindy Trachsel has always created art whether it was sketching or experimenting with different mediums. However it was not until she retired that she had the time to work on her art more diligently. She started with pen and ink and then changed to color pencil. She loves drawing animals. Some of her favorites are lions, tigers and leopards as well as gorillas, horses, wolves and  dogs. She loves drawing people of all ages. She loves to capture the beauty, character and spirit of each subject. She has been part of the Art Expo in Winnipeg. Her work is hanging in Stonewall hospital and Quarry Heritage Art center. She has just recently moved to Winnipeg from Warren Manitoba.
